At Pacific Optometry Group, the health and safety of our patients and staff is of utmost importance. We ask that you be patient with us as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. We have several new protocols that have been put in place to ensure that you have a safe, healthy, and pleasant experience.
Update as of 06/2021: Although COVID-19 cases seem to decreasing in California, our protocols as a healthcare facility remain unchanged.
Here are a few ways your visit may be a little different than what you’re used to:
Eye exams are by appointment only, no walk-ins are allowed at this time. If you would like to come back at another time to choose glasses after your exam, you will also need to schedule an appointment as we are limiting the amount of patients in our clinic at any given time.
If you are picking up glasses/contacts or need your glasses adjusted, simply call our office when you arrive and we will meet you at the door.
If you are a new patient to us, we will send you our registration forms via email and ask that you fill it out in its entirety. Please email it back to us prior to your appointment.
When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, please call our office to let us know you are here. Before entering the clinic, you will be asked a series of health questions about symptoms, travel patterns, and other info related to COVID-19. Any patients that report flu-like symptoms or other concerns will be rescheduled at a convenient time, at least 10 days later.
We kindly ask that you wear a face covering or mask at all times inside our clinic and practice social distancing whenever possible. Please ensure that your mask is worn over your nose AND mouth.
We ask that you do not bring anyone to accompany you to the office unless absolutely necessary or if you are a minor (one parent allowed). Anyone accompanying you will also be asked to comply with our protocols related to COVID-19.
Our staff and doctors regularly sanitize all surfaces between every patient and every encounter. Our frames are run through a UV light sanitizer to ensure proper disinfection after each patient. We also have contactless payment options.
We have placed hand sanitizer bottles throughout our clinic for your convenience.
